Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Where to tap for boost?

Where is the correct location to tap into for the boost pressure for the manifold? If it helps, it is a 180 hp motor. Thanks!

This should help you out

1. Locate and remove the 1/8" NPT pipe plug (see pic below) on the drivers side of the intake manifold.

2. Install the fitting and connect the hose making sure that the hose fits snug but does not pinch.

You can also use a special hollow bolt (you screw the 1/8" boost fitting into the bolt) to replace one of the intake manifold bolts. The bolt is about 2/3 of the way towards the back just behind the intercooler piping and close to the head cover. Easy to get to. Only thing you need to be careful of is that some of the intake bolts don't go into the inside of the intake but instead of straight through.
