No gripe with the paint. Mine is Flame Red.
2 problems however, door lock switches only unlock doors, and both right-side A-pillar and rear door speaker do not work.

I hope to have 0 problems. I have a phobia that after taking it to my dealer it will not be the same. My 1989 Spirit ES that I gave to my brother had it to a local dealer, they started the car in gear and smashed the whole front end up. It took another month for the managers friends body shop to fix the damage. After a year the paint someone put on started peeling off. My other brother has the car now and the pain is a large 18" diameter circle in the middle of the hood!

If they start the Cummins in gear I hope it takes the whole building down.

Does it give you bad gas or an upset stomach? I have a theory on tacos. It is called the "Cheap Taco Express" saga. I should be able to stretch it into a book. Like the way Scott Adams Dilbert has poked fun at engineering types...

I wonder if the blue trucks in St. Louis have paint problems... What ever the case I hope the paint on mine stays on...

Yeah, the heavy duty Xfer case is a seperate option. For around $85 Cost, $100 Retail, its a great priced option. Can handle 1400ft/lbs intake torque instead of 1100ft/lbs for the stock one. It's cheap insurance in my opinion. Order code is DHG

They should make them a different number rather than the name being different. The DHG is also the shift on the fly transfer case. I do not see how they can be that different.

I think that it is dumb that I cannot get the show plow prep on a sport truck!

Heard you got another foot of white your way over the weekend. Fun, fun, fun.

The HD xfer case is available on the sport, but no plow pkg. More DC wisdom. I think they believe we can't figure out how to get a mount below the biga$$ plastic bumper. No big deal aftermarket springs will do a better job of bringing your front end back up to level with the rear anyway.

Ordered my ETH/DEE on 8-26-00, took delivery 10-10-00. Truck was built in Mexico. I had not joined the TDR while I was waiting for my truck to arrive, but I was monitoring the boards, especially the "ETH/DEE waiting club". Back then it seemed like nearly all ETH's were comming from St. Louis, so I was surprised to discover mine was from Mexico. So far, I've had no problems other than the center console tabs breaking off. My Flame Red paint does seem very thin/easy to chip though.
