Wade, you know its gonna be on the other side of KY! All those events are "up north" :-laf

I either want to go to Nationals or May Madness:confused:

I could handle somewhere 5 to 6 hours from Southwest Missouri. As far as that goes Bowling Green kentucky or St. Louis would also be nice. We have used Bowling Green for the Buick Nationals for years. It's a great location.

Branson sounds even better since I'm only 40 minutes from there. I could even set people up with free camper parking assuming anyone on here has a truck that they pull a camper with. LOL Maybe even discount tickets to a friends music theater on the strip. And I just happen to know the owner of the local dragstrip as well.

It's currently being worked on and AFAIK the current plans are for it to be in Columbus, IN again with a tie in to the Diesel National Drag races in Indianapolis at IRP. The reason it's in Columbus is because of the tie in and support from the Cummins mid range engine plant where our 5. 9's are built. There are simultaneous plans going on in the Ford camp and the Chevy side is being worked on so that all 3 makes will come together at the dragstrip for drags and possibly pulls. That's all preliminary information and is what I have heard from my sources.

Also, I'm moving this to the event forum.

This years National event at Columbus was fantastic. Ceraland (the campground) was beautiful. The Cummins people were great and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. Thanks for the food BTW. The volunteers worked their butts off and deserve a big thank you as well. If this were to be turned into a poll, I would vote for returning to Columbus!

Just my honest opinion.

That would be great, although where it is really isn't as important as just having one. It is always great to be able to have all our membership get together every year.

The support from Cummins and our other sponsors is important as well, and we need to remember to thank all of them.

I will be looking forward to it wherever TDR is able to get it together and encourage everyone to participate if possible.

We could only dream Wade!:{ Hey I know, lets plan out which one we're gonna go to and split the cost of going! We can take your truck (same if not better mpg, if you keep your foot out of it!) and split all the cost's whatdaya say Wade:confused:
