Where would you put temp. gauge

I pull a heavy 5er and I have a tempature gauge from my last truck that I used on the auto trans. If you were to install a temp. gauge, would you install it in the rear differental or on the manual trans?

The trans still wouldn't be a bad idea. Have heard the manual trannys can get pretty warm towing heavy, in hot weather. The diff would be a good place to have a gauge, too.

Buy another sender & switch check both boxes on long hot pulls.
