Someone Stole My Dually !!!!!!

Have you ever been to Notrees, TX? It's named Notrees for a good reason!! :D

Orla, TX qualifies as the middle of nowhere - look it up on a map sometime! :)

:D :D

Well, if you drive half way between one edge of nowhere to the other edge, you'll be in the middle! But, since nowhere really doesn't exist, it could be hard to determine exactly where the edges are located at.

Oh he**, its too early in the morning for this! my head hurts already!:D :)

I remember back in December '80 when I was being assigned to San Angelo, Texas, I asked how to get there and was told, "Drive south to hell and make a left turn. "

San Angelo is a garden spot

compared to Iraan, Terrel, Sanderson, Marathon and anything around the junction of SH 285 and CR2400 South of Ft. Stockton.

I work around there quite often. Early in March of last year it was 99 deg. when I was in Iraan. Makes you really wonder what August will be like. Really fun stuff wearing 6oz. Nomex and breathing 10 ppm of H2S. :D :D

Middle

Well if you're in Iraan again soon might as well drop by Rankin, Big Lake and Hadacol Corners, watch out for the jackrabbits. bg

I used to live in Midland, so I've been all over to Rankin, San Angelo, and points South. Once you get to Rising Star, You KNOW you are in the middle of nowhere. Iraan sucks-- tell the Ayatollah I said hi. hehe.

Ever tried to explain the Marfa lights to someone who hasn't been there or seen them???

Oh Man Not Marathon:--) Now thats out Nowhere~~

C'mon y'all, I like it out there. I deliver to marathon Oil in Iraan, once you get passed Mason it's clear sailin' from Austin area:D

The Middle of Nowhere akin to the Point of No Return.

One example of Nowhere: Let's say you're driving along the freeway and your car breaks down. Do you walk back to the last exit, or do you walk to the next exit? If the exits aren't within sight and you don't remember how far the exits are away, or whether you will find help at either exit, then you are in the Middle of Nowhere.

Another example: If you die without being certian about where your soul will end up, You will be in the Middle of Nowhere, until your soul reaches it's destination. I suppose if you end up being a ghost, then you will be stuck in the Middle of Nowhere.

I think I saw a documentary once, about Nowhere. It was on the Twilight Zone.
