Up until very recently, my wastegate would blow at 28psi. . I saw 30 once, pulling a small (1200lb) trailer up a small hill at about 100mph
Yesterday, I "got on it" and glanced over at the boost guage. 34 :--)
Turbo sounds a little roudier, as well.
The only thing that's been done since 28-30 has been an oil change... nothing magic or fancy, same ol' Delo 400, so that should be a non-issue.
a couple of months ago, at a NHP's "suggestion" I had a 4" "glasspak" muffler installed, thereby mellowing the straight pipe that I'd run for the last 3 years.
Do wastegates go out of adjustment, and, if so, do they go the direction that mine might have? If so, should i do something about it?
