Anyone here ever toy with a metal detector?

Bin Laden and all Like Him.

I'm always around -

Just cuz I don't post don't mean I don't read everyday. Like Kerry said I been working 6 days a week for friends, and been busy doing the holiday thing... ..... no I am not working overtime for more money... ... I'm salary. I'm jsut trading days with friends so that I can have off whenever I want to goto KC or something in the middle of my work week.

I think shes given up on the idea of getting me in Dockers, last 2 weeks she has bought me 2 pair of wranglers... ... ... ... . and actually I have I think 4 pair of Dockers in the back of my closet that were bought when I first took my "office job", but then I found out that even on dayshift I can wear "non blue" wranglers... ... soooooo the Dockers been mothballed everysince then.

And no I haven't spent too much on the truck ;) Christmas just put a damper on my truck spending because I go a bit overboard sometimes... ... ... not only do I spoil my family, but now I got Kerry and her daughter to spoil even more so. And when a ring does come into the picture... ... it will be $3,000 to $4,000 at the very absolute least. Hell I spent $3500 on one a few years ago back when I was makin $9 an hour ;) I'll reread this later and try to hit on any points I missed... .....

Here's an idea for you Kat. If she is really serious about getting married, don't do it until she spends 3,000 to 4,000 dollars on your truck. That is what you would spend on a ring right??????? Then get her to propose to you. Then you know you will be in charge! Gotta make sure!

Actually shes helping me purchase somethings for the truck, and the new computer I am building. Upgrading from the KwikSpool to the B1 ain't cheap, and I am buying a new exhaust as well. And in a roundabout way she did kinda propose ;)

So I think I got it pretty darn good.

SheKat with some words.....

Alright you guys for one thing you not going on my honeymoon, and I am thinking cruise and beach resorts. :D

As for the ring, as long as Kat picks it out I don't care how much it costs;) But there is that saying "Married for 50 years think how many times she looks at her ring, now what she thinks is up to you" :D :D :D

I would like to get Kat a brand new truck in about a year or two. And he is happy, and I am happy and my daughter is happy, so whats the problem??????????

I love Kat and nothing is going to change that!!!!;)

In case everyone is wondering....

Here is Kerry and her daughter Aubree. This picture was taken for Christmas.

What the heck is up with this "linking" crap... . I can't get it to display right. Does everyone else just see a link? And if so does it work when you click on it?

Who would have thought I could find someone to put up with my truck habits... ... and then also put up with me and encourage me to keep doing it all! Sometimes she gets more excited (more ways then one) over upgrading my truck then I do.

Nice family Kat!

You would have seen them if you hadn't overslept ;) Did you put the SS up for winter? I still haven't seen it. Think you will take the truck to KC with us on Jan 27th???

The SS is resting peacefully in the garage. I'll take it out just to keep everything lubed and loose if the streets ever get clean enough; otherwise I'll just drive it up and down the driveway every few weeks.

Know what you mean about freezing your arse off. Had to crawl under my boys S10 and re-connect the starter last night. Brrrr. Didn't help that it was all ice underneath; parked in the street. Dang bolt fell out of the starter; easy fix at-least. Now I know to re-torque them at each oil change. Little beater is 15 yrs old and has 144,000 on it and still runs great, runs better then my wifes new Durango and new Town and Country van did.

I'd like to make it to Dyno days in KC. Sharon and I were just saying this weekend that we needed a road trip. Think I may even try and get to N. D. in early Feb to see family and drop in on the little get-together they're having up there.

Hey Kat, She's nice (both of them). What they see in you is beyond my comprehension, but I'm not a girl - LOL

I hope you can keep it together and make a happy family of them.

Doc

PS - Where'd you say the homeymoons gonna be? - hehe
