Just wondered if anybody knew where it was. I got the railcar # that my truck is on and it's headed there but couldn't find it on the map. Any info would be much appreciated #ad
Thanks, Doug

Thanks Thomas. Startin to get a little pumped about it gettin here. The UP web site I looked at showed it left Texas on the 29th and an ETA in Rolla on the 4th. Is that just the name of a train stop outside of Denver? Still can't find it on a map. Thanka alot, Doug

<font color=blue>Its the place where the railcars are unloaded from the UP(Union Pacific). If I told you where it was I would have to kill ya... ..... naw seriously, Its close to Denver I'll try to get a exact address when I get back to work on Tuesday.

Whats the railcar number? I can track it better then you can... ... . even from home.

Kat, don't worry about the exact address as I won't get to see the truck if I'm dead anyhow #ad
That's kinda what I figured was that it must just be a train stop. The railcar # is ttgx151431. Thanks for checking on it for me. I'm sure the guys at DC are glad they finally get rid of my phone calls every other day #ad

X-10 Just looked it up in my trusty Gazetteer--- Rolla is just to the east of I-76 at exit 11 a bit north of Commerce City.

Doubt if UP RR would let you thru the gate for a look see, though. #ad

Yep, pretty sure that's the one. Used to commute by it everyday. There will be literally hundreds of new vehicles in there at any one time, coming off the train headed for the over-the-road car carriers. Used to wonder how they kept them all straight #ad

Thanks guys for the location. I make it down to Denver once in a while, so kinda know where abouts you're talking. I'm finding out why it takes 5 days to get from Texas to CO as it is taking the scenic route over to Missouri and now through Nebraska. #ad
Oh well, shouldn't be long now.

I think that the train actually comes through Cheyenne on the way to Denver. I noticed that you are in Wyoming. Did you buy from a dealer in Wyoming or Colorado. I'm surprised that UP doesn't unload in Cheyenne. Doesn't seem too effecient.

Klenger, I am getting the truck through my local dealer. I went down to your neighborhood at Cherry Creek for my present truck, but they nor Christophers could do me any better than here this time. I did see where the train route goes through Cheyenne. Does seem like they would have some kind of a drop station there too. You gotten any more towing miles on your rig? Probably ready to start "bombing" by now ain't ya? #ad

Doug

No more towning. Worked 84 hours last week. Hope to go camping again in the next few weeks. Maybe Rocky Mtn National Park for some hiking or snowshoeing. That's why I bought the truck. No bombing plans. I plan to keep it stock. What city do you live in? FYI, I bought my truck from Broadway Dodge for $149 over invoice. No hastle. I'm glad you were able to do business locally. Always a good idea. Good luck.

No wonder you're not getting much truckin done when you work that many hours #ad
. I'm up here in Wheatland. It's about an hour north of Cheyenne (in case you didn't know). Have fun on your next trip. Doug

Just have to add that I don't need this topic anymore as my daughter just came home and said she saw a car carrier with red dodge setting on it at the dealer. Needless to say we had to go check it out. It's HERE #ad
