Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting Where's the ammo?

I've been trying to buy . 38spl ammo,but apprently the whole country is sold out? why? why . 38spl? I understand . 308 for the military, but . 38spl? anyone know why, other than Nobama bin laden

In Parker, Az a new Wally World opened this morning. My wife went. I ask her to go to the sporting goods section and check on ammo. I reload so don't really need any ready made stuff other than . 22's... Had her pick up a brick. The clerk behind the counter told her, after what was on the shelves was gone, good luck..... he did not know when their next shipment would be.

I've been very frugel shooting my stuff cause I still have not set up my gear after moving to Az:{

Yes, unfortunately some of our good friends and neighbors are picking it up off the store shelves and jacking the price up and peddeling it on the web. It has gone up some everywhere but the ban scare has made it a black market item. The big discount stores get shipments daily, they don't know what part of their request they will be getting but the ones that handle ammo get something about daily, your best bet is to show up there about 8:00 AM occasionally and see what you can find. bg

I've had pretty good luck ordering online at the SportsmansGuide site. They have always had a good stock on hand. Although it has been gradually increasing in price.
