Where's the Bedlight???

I bought my first Dodge, a 2001. 5 QC short bed and am wondering... is there supposed to be a bed light like other trucks or did Dodge just not put one there so people could see what they are doing in their truck beds at night?

On my 99 you just roll the panel dimmer all the way to the top and it comes on

It is part of teh CHMSL, if you have one. I think it may be an option, but I have seen very few trucks without, they were all plain Jane's.



Just looked at my window sticker, cargo light looks to be standard.
