I need to purchase a new lift pump, only the 2nd one in 178,000 miles…. guess I shouldn’t complain.

Who makes the best aftermarket pump and where do I purchase one. Don’t even tell me the dealer!!!

Thanks,

Bob

I have purchased all of mine from my local Cummins dealer not Dodge. I think the last one cost me 134. 00 plus tax about 1 year ago. . Holesi Diesel also carries them for about 145. 00 plus shipping.

I just purchased mine from NAPA autoparts. They carry the carter liftpumps who I believe was the supplier to Dodge. Mine works fine. But it was a bit more expensive than $134. 00. $Try 212. 00

A web search for Holesi Diesel does not yield anything. Do you have a link?

I purchased mine at O'reilly Auto Parts. Around 165. 00 Lifetime warranty. That is what sold me on buying from them. Put it in last fall doing good so far.

Some of the TDR guys sell them I would think,

Power by Poole

Source Automotive

Industrial Injection

Diesel Dynamics

Piers

DTT

ATS

and about a bunch of others,

no one left out intentionally, just some that come to mind.

I would rather buy from a TDR member if at all possible. Help them help us.

Summit Racing. The Holley Red.

The FASS. The last lift pump youll ever buy. A big monster of a fuel pump designed to pump diesel fuel.

I wonder how they can warranty for life these pos pumps  I bought my truck w/75k - it presently has 144k and it's had 3 replacements . . . so far. When this one goes or when I'm tired of looking @ 13# idle and less than 8# WOT I'll be doing FASS or something other than stock for sure. Relocating the pump and filter assy to the frame helped a little bit. Actually made it easier to change the fuel filter too.

I dont think it is actually listed on the site. Give them a call.....

I got my last one from there along with some wahers and banjo bolts.

They are very friendly, they know what they are talking about and have fast shipping.

I forget the price... ... But 145 sounds about right with some washers. I have a spare from them in my toolbox and the one on the truck is at 9,000 miles and still ticking (from them also).

Good experience on my end... .
