Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Where's the Datalink Connector (2001)?

I can't find the DLC on my 2001 truck. If it's on top of the lift pump I can't find it and if it's in the wiring harness near the PS pump I can't find it.



Any hints on how to locate it?

most ot the time, the data link is located right below the fuel filter housings and somtimes the plug is very hard to find .



If you have an rarly build 01 the harness could be right by the power steering pump but its very easy to see.



check below the filter, you will find it

Mine was in front of the lift pump (towards the front of the vehicle) down about 8 inches. It has a 'cap' on it. (mine is a '01. 5)

I found the DLC beside the injector pump.
