What happened to the sway bar that used to come with the towing package? I noticed that it's not there today. Also, the cheapos at DC don't supply the 7 to 4 adapter any more. And who thought of mounting the brake controller connector so that the controller pigtail can't plug into it without taking it off the top of the massive connector it is mounted on?

On my truck the 7 to 4 adapter is part of the hitch plug - right next to the 7 pin connector with a rubber plug covering it.

As to the sway bar, I haven't noticed any problems without it (of course the rear end of my truck IS 8 feet wide).

Thanks, Juan. Didn't see the plug. This is taking some getting used to. I'm missing all the room I had in my 01. Missing the 6 speed, too.

In theory the stiff hydroframe no longer makes the sway bar necessary. Thats why they didn't include one in the camper package.

However, Hellwig makes one for the 3G for around $200, or a little less (memory almost gone). I put one on because I figured it couldn't hurt when hauling firewood and the ol' overcab camper.

Gotcha on the Hydroframe. This one does seem a little stiffer. I know the Class IV hitch looks a little strange the way it's mounted. Time will tell how strong it is.
