OK, here's the story. PO of my truck said he put a "power kit" in it. I figured cheapest and easiest would be the fuel curve plate, which TST conveniently markets under the name "power kit". Wondering which plate he installed, I pulled the AFC cover today and lo and behold, there's no number stamped on the plate. Does this mean it was even replaced? What company doesn't mark their plates? Any way I can tell whose it is?

I know the truck is bombed somewhat b/c when I bought it it already had gauges and boost gets up to 35 at WOT. It still defuels around 2400 rpm so no governor kit. Any ideas?

Bosch plates have a number and two dimples, also 2 rivets on the top. TST plates also have a number on the top. You can send me a message if you need more details, most of this has been discussed before, I don't know of any company that doesn't put any number on the plate (even the copycats).

No dimples, no numbers, no rivets, no identifying marks at all except maybe a hash mark that lines up with the inner edge =of the afc housing, presumably so you know which way is front and which is back.
