Scan Tool for 6.7?

Anbody know which amsoil pypass oil kit would be best for my 99'? Looks like the 11, 15 or ea15. dual systems would all work. I got the billet adaptor and battery mounting kit from Tri-County Machine. Also, which filters have worked the best for those of you that have had your oil analyzed? Much thanks in advance!

****Well decided to not use Amsoil bypass so I will have the Billet adapter and battery mount kit for an for purchase. Private message me if anybody is interested.

I think the dual remote is the easiest to instsall. If you go single the cost of the billet return cap makes it just about as much money as the dual. I really just do not like the return hose going in the filler myself.

I would opt for the BMK-11 and use an EaBP-100 filter element, but since you say you already purchased the Billet adapter, you obviously will need the BMK-15. I would still use the EaBP-100 By-Pass element along with the EaO-26 as the "Full-Flow, as they come with the BMK-15 Kit.

This is what I put on a customers truck. . its the bmk-15. . Only issue that I had was the adapters that I used on the motor side. Customer didnt want the rubber line suppied in the kit he wanted ss lines. So I went with a -10 instead. Something that I wont use again is the NPT to JIC fittings from Summit. I replaced both of them and they still leaked. I called Summit and they sent me 4 Aeroquip fittings for free... Put them in and the leak is gone. Really didnt want the blue color... I wanted all black but if it leaks. . who cares what color they are...

I have heard that some people see a slight oil pressure drop. . but with these big lines... running stock pressure.

Also I had a cnc billet aluminum bracket to mount where the battery box was.

I installed the bmk-5 on my 1990 CTD and liked the ease of filter changes but was concerned about the size of the lines supplied with the kit. My feeling was that they would create excessive pressure drop using mineral oil in the winter due to thicking, so I used 5w40 synthetic year round for peace of mind.

If you install a bypass install the remote bypass filter only and retain the original Cummins full flow filter.

On the dual remote filter the full flow filter size is 3/4-16 which is a restriction in addition to the small lines that are supplied. .

The Cummins filter is 1-16, plus the fleet guard filters available are better than amsoils in my opinion.

So it right and install the bypass filter only, retain the original Cummins filter

AMSOIL's Eao80 oil filter has the identical guts and case as a Donaldson Endurance ELF7349 oil filter. So, the AMSOIL filter is a very high quality oil filter.
