Which Bilstein shock?

I have a 2004 quad cab 4x4 long box with a 1" spacer in the front. Which shock from your experience would be better? It seems the yellow HD shocks are specifically tuned for the application and the 5100's are valved more one size fits all. Is this correct? Has anyone run both types? Let me know.

I have an '06 Mega Cab 3500, and I changed the OEM shocks out really quick when the back end started dancing around going over the interstate bridges... .



The yellow/blue ones for stock suspensions work really well!

The 5100's are generally made for lifted vehicles. Is doesn't have to be much of a lift. I believe the ones I have are for +1 to 2". Don't know about the difference in valving.

I have the 5100's on my stock suspension. I believe Geno's advertises them as "stock to 2" lift". I love them!

Keep in mind with Bilstein, the higher end you go, the shorter your warranty gets. 90 days to a year tops on the 51XX and up...
