The bug has bitten me. I want to bomb and can't help it! I've had the truck stock long enough. I currently have a 4 inch exhaust, in the middle of installing my FASS system because my fuel pressure showed around 5 psi and the BD exhaust brake showed up yesterday. I had another Dodge CTD with the brake and loved it for towing. I'm thinking about the AFE stage 2 with a Pro Guard 7, but I'm waiting on the HP numbers first. Then an Edge Comp and injectors. Does this sound like a good combo? I've seen posts on 275's, EDM's and DD2's and 3's. Was first thinking about the DD2's, then seen alot of positive info on the 275's and now the new buzz of EDM injectors:confused: . On the boxes, I've gone from Edge EZ to thinking about a VA from what posts I've read, to the adjustablility of the Comp. I want the power to pull, but dependability is also a must. Any info you can shed would greatly be accepted.

P. S. As you can see from my sig, a clutch will be installed somewhere in there when needed. Thanks.

Bomb?

I vote for going to the drag comp and EDM's. I've had the DDII's and never looked back at them. When I had the DDII's I always needed the box on all the time. With the EDM's I only need the box when I want to screw around. There's plenty of power for the every day with the EDM's I have the 2. 4's:D

I heard alot of people with DD/BD ll's that wanted more power after they got used to them. I went with BD lll's because I still wanted to be able to reliably tow. The BD lll's gave about the same power as the edge comp did by itself so now I pretty much leave the edge comp off unless some kid with a fart can attached to the back of his import pulls up ready to jocky for my lane position. Then the edge comes on (pre-set at 5X5 :D ) and there is a major smoke screen left at the intersection until the B1 gets spooled up, which doesnt take long at all.

HO engine???

What about the ETH (2001 HO) engine and fueling boxes. I've seen posts that say the HO isn't real good with boxes and injectors work better. :(

I also have a 2001 HO, yes the injectors work better on a ETH but the combo of the comp box and injectors is the ticket:D Having a box like the comp you can turn it off or on.
