Which clutch are you guys running

During the performance build-up process of a friend's truck the clutch let us know that it was time for her to go!



As I have told you folks in the past I don't frequent Dodges all that much, so I really couldn't tell what the current trends are. What I need to know is what clutch are you guys using on the 3rd Gen trucks?



As of now my friend has the TTPM, pump, stacks,intake, and gauges. He plans on the turbo and DD III's this spring. He tows a small trailer (aprox. 4K) for building houses. He has an 04' 4x4 dually straight shift.



Any help or suggestions would be great guys, and thanks in advanced.

I spoke with Peter at South Bend Clutch yesterday and he's highly recommending the Con FE for the third generation six speeds. Rated to hold 1100 ft. lbs of torque.

Ya, Peter at south bend is the MAN! After going through a few clutches on my Supra, he hooked me up with a clutch that is the best I have used so far.

I assume that you guys are replacing the clutch, presure plate, and throw out bearing. Is there anything else such as bushings that I should look at?

The normal clutch kit comes with the friction, pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing. If you're stock clutch (or the one your replacing) in relatively new you can run the old pilot bearing otherwise replace all the affirmentioned parts.
