Well I have come into some $$$$ and am interested in MORE POWER. I am currently contemplating the addition of the following: AirDog fuel pump, 370hp injectors,TST PMCR R49, SMARTY, Aurora 3000, BD exhaust manifold, 5" exhaust. I know I'll need an upgrade in the clutch department. I am considering South Bend OFE or FE. I want a smooth clutch as I occaissionally pull large cattle trailers. Anybody with similar mods that has recommendations I am all ears. How much boost will the 3000 make ? Will I need to o-ring the head and use stronger studs as well ?

Drew,

370's are for 12V engines.

OFE sounds like the clutch you want.

3000 will probably make 40-50psi but boost is really not a good way to gauge a turbo's capabilities.

Leave the head alone.

Justin, the injectors were recomended by a friend who has an older truck. I guess he forgot what year model I have. Also do you think the Aurora 2000 or 3000.

Cool videos!!

Don't forget that if your towing, the clutch you want will lurch! The Brute Force clutch by Zoom lurches from time to time with a heavy load ... ... ... ... . I know, I have one! But! It holds my mods and was $800 with a throw out bearing =)

it sounds like the SBC CON OFE would be your best bet for smooth engagement and handleing the power that you want. depending on how long until you plan on upgrading, i hear there are some improvements being made to the single disc clutches. Oo.
