Just got my Mag hytech cover today. I pull alot. Should I use 90w-140 synthetic probably go with amsoil or stick with the 75w-90 like the book says?

I use the 75W-90 Series 2000 Amsoil in differentials, and find it to be A OK. Have also used this in my other two CTD trucks.

I guess it depends if you are going to be hauling/pulling a lot of weight any distance. I have always used the 75W90 in the past. But when we get a 5th wheel I will probably go with the 75W140. Just something to think about.

I was thinking the 75w-140 also since 95% of the time I tow heavy. Besides I already have a few qts. of Amsoil in the garage.

Thanks, just wanted another opinion.

Valvoline full synthetic 75W-90 in mine. If Valvoline is good enough for the engine factory fill, I'll have to believe it's good enough for the AAM rear end. I've seen no proof that there's any better.
