Well im ready to order one from somewhere,my edge is sold and my srt 10 pillar is ready,I have noticed some of the guages have a remote booster box thingy that doesnt sound good to me with extra crap included. So knowing that i dont care for that one whats another one that matches great and where can i order one? Thanks I talk on so many different sites and hope i didnt put this on here twice

TDR Issue 52 (I think) has a nice evaluation piece on EGT gages. The guy did a thorough testing job on most of the most popular brands. His top choice was the Westach EGT/Boost combo gage. I went with the Westach and have not been dissapointed. There is no "booster box" with this set up. The EGT probe is a direct thermocouple and requires no external power. The boost has a PT built into the gage and requires 12 volts to run. If you run search on "gages" or "Westach" you will find many threads on this subject regarding performance and installation. The dominant theme in these threads is appearance. The Westach does not match the OEM exactly, but it looks just fine in the Dodge SRT-10 A-pillar, and performs flawlessly. Genos Garage can set you up with everything including the pillar mount.

DiPricol Optix series or Isspro EV's are a good match... can be found at Diesel Manor, DDP, Geno's, etc.

Which one of these doesnt have that booster box thingy????

the isspros have the booster box. i just replaced my isspro pyro with the westach combo egt/boost gauge from geno's garage. was perfectly happy with the isspro it worked fine just wanted the boost gauge and didn't want to lose the grab handle.

I forgot how good the Jim Weir article was. I need to clarify one of the "negative" statements regarding the Westach lighting. The one I installed in 2006 has the light on the right (passenger side) of the gauge. Westberg must have modified the set-up after getting negative feedback. This shields the bare bulb from the passenger side. The little green filter also reduces glare quite a bit and gives the white face background a nice green glow. The lighting works very well when hooked up to the headlight dimmer.

I have found that a dimmer setting one notch down from brightest is unobtrusive even in the darkest ambient lighting conditions.
