He's probably fine with the new DTT transmission.

I've heard a lot of good reports about the new PacBrake. Seems to work well even at lower rpm's. , from what I hear.

An exhaust brake that installs on the turbo has less lag time... . because you don't have to fill the exhaust pipe with compressed air..... or exhaust in this case...

We can suppy you with in inline kit instead of a direct mount... . I just wouldn't suggest it...

If you have a standard down pipe attached to your cast elbow that is currently on your truck the pacbrake will work... and handle more exhaust than the stock elbow... the pacbrake replaces the stock cast elbow... .

I would suggest that you check with your transmission builder... . you'll need some kind of kit to manually downshift the transmission and hold the fluid pressure up...

If your transmission has no way of holding the fluid pressure up... . that is couple the torque converter to your engine when you slow down... . My personal opinion is that you won't get the bang for you buck... . with any exhaust brake... .

One benifit is the new pacbrake prxb will provide higher back pressure at lower rpm for more retarding HP... .

If you have more interest in the pacbrake send me an email... . we've provided a lot of these to TDR members... .

Hope this helps answer your questions... .

I'll put my $. 02 in the pot.

I just lost my second vacuum pump on my MOPAR Jake. I have sent Jim and e-mail for more info on the PAC because I can not afford to buy new vacuum pumps every 35k miles as mine have fail both around that milage frame. The first they replaced under warrenty, but they would not extend additional warrenty on the replaced pump so this time I am SOL. Which every one you buy you will not be dissapointed.
