Why not use an Air Dog that have 165GPH and 2 micron filtration and removes the air out of the system from two air removal circuits vs just one like other brands do?? By passes the stock filter housing etc??

Mark

There is no AD system with greater than 5um filtration, and 3um is the best available. They both have their faults with filtration, FASS seems to be addressing the issue slower than AD, but still addressing it.

8-12 Psi anything over 15 is a little to Much,20+ will accelerate wear on the pump gears. I suppose if I wanted to save My lift Pump I would run higher pressure so the COV bleeds off more back to the tank, but eventually the COV will wear out then its going to be $$$ in repairs. .

I agree, Bosch specs are -5 to +15 psi, I would set it 15 at idle and let it drop from there.

so now i should not trust my fass fuel filters? should i let the fuelline go to the stock filter housing? but this has to be safer than my stock filter. .

but if i read everything right should i put more filter ?

i have 3 now stock and 2 on the fass. . or should i bypass stock filter

and just use the ones on fass pump

Keep the factory. always put the tighter filters before factory on CR. . No do not trust fass filters. . of course their better then NONE. . if fuel becomes contaminated those filters are only rock catchers.

There are some alternative filters you can run depending on what FASS model you have. Which model, or filters, do you use?
