I've decided to get a FASS with our tax return. We have a 2012 Laramie Longhorn 6.7L HO, SRW, with an Edge Evolution tuner. There are a number of them with different flow rates...
1. Which FASS should I get? I tow a 5th wheel for about a month per year.
2. Draw tube or sump?
3. Do I need a mount?
4. Anything else I should consider?

Thanks!

My question is why would you want to? Earlier RAM/Cummins maybe but personally I would not waste my $$$.

I would advise filling in your visible profile for future questions.

I've heard and read that it protects the fuel system better than stock and better fuel mileage. What about newer engines makes them not worthy of the addition?

The new in-tank fuel pump is capable of meeting any demand from a stock engine and has proven to be very reliable. Fuel filtering: more is better BUT, added system complexity with non factory components reduces reliability. The 2013 and later filtering system is excellent and can be retrofitted back to the 2010-1012 trucks via a Mopar kit. It has a Fleetgaurd 3 micron filter in the engine bay and an rough filter over the rear drive shaft near the tank both with water separation capability. Nothing against FASS systems, but I want simple and standard on something like that.

OK, sounds better all around and no potential draw straw issues. Would you have the kit part number for retrofit?

This is what I used to protect my fuel system. The water separator and 3 micron Cat filtering out any contaminants going to my Nanonet fuel filter under the hood. I feel that it's more than enough protection. With the Nanonet filter being $60 plus, I simply change out my water separator and cat filter every 15K miles for $30.
