Where to buy Goodyear hoses?

I am somewhat of a newby to this site as far as posting so I hope this is the rite area for this post. I have a 99 Dodge 24 valve 2500 4x4 and my vp44 took a crapper. I know that I need to replace the feed pump,so which is the most fool proof reliable one. I'm not going to make a racing machine out of my truck but I will do some upgrading for more power. I use my truck for pulling a 24ft boat with a skamper on the bed, so a little more horses would be nice. Now I see there is the FASS pump or the system, don't know if the filters are really necesary. But I don't know so I'm asking the question. Also BD aux pump is out there. I'm sure there is more. So can I get a consensus on the most reliable pump. I don't want to replace my Vp 44 anytime soon!

Thanks.

Personally, I don't see the FASS being worth the $, but a lot are running them with good results.

When my lift pump went out, I decided to try a new generation Holley gerotor pump mounted on the frame, and installed a Vulcan Big Line kit at the same time. So far, everything has worked out exactly as I planned, and at 1/3 the cost. Do a forum search and see my other posts on the Holley pump I am talking about - it is not the old red/blue/black style vane pump.

Whatever path you decide to take, please do not put another lift pump on the engine. :)

not a 2nd gen, but 2 weeks ago my lift pump went for a poop at a really bad time killing my 3rd gen... i tossed in a walbro along with a home made pressure regulator and it works very nicely i think. many others run it too with good success.

glacier has a nice kit for it. comes with almost all you will need...

i went my own route as i am always wanting something different
