Now that you all are drawing me to the dark side, what do I do first? Injectors (suggestions?) or black box (suggestions?)?
I want to increase power for towing and hopefully mpg and definately the "smoke factor"

The stealthier way would be injectors, the easier way would be a box.

I wouldnt count on MPG increases with either, unless you have more self control than the majority here, you wont be able to keep the go pedal off the floor #ad

Box. That's the short answer. The HO has smaller injectors and you can really feel a change with the box. Those injectors are optimized for that engine. From what I have gathered from talking to guys at with the HO that changed just the injectors, they got less gain than they expected. I'm sure someone will flame me for this and feel free because I haven't changed injectors and can't say from first hand experience. The box seems to give the most initial bang for the buck with the HO. A final touch, with 275's you would be getting about 30 hp. With a box you'll get a minimum of 40 but probably 60 plus depending on which one you go with.

Try the EZ. If you don't like it within 60 days, send it back. 5 minutes to install. Injectors take a couple of hours.

If you plan on taking your truck in for warranty work, it's a lot easier to remove a box than it is to re-swap your injectors back to stock.

The upside to injectors is that you're not stressing your VP44 electronic fuel pump by making it pump "more fuel". It pumps the same rate and pressure as stock, but the bigger injectors flow more because of larger orifaces and lighter pop-off pressures.

I opted to go with the injectors for my truck. Went with DD Stage II's, and couldn't be happier! OK, I could be happier if I had the DTT VB/TC upgrade AND a box AND more smoke AND more power, but otherwise I'm still pretty darned happy! #ad

Texas D... They are having a meeting of TDR members just down the road from you in a few weeks. Maybe U could try out a Box from a fellow memeber, and get an idea of what it will perform like... U'll be HOOKed for sure. . (Don't know if I'll make it or not. )Check it out on the Events board.

Go with injectors on the ETH. The major fueling boxes work best on the ETC engine. Beware: your clutch will not hold much over 600 Ft*lbf... .

Either way you go you should deffinatley be able to tell a difference in your truck. I went with a box first (JVD), but now that I look back on it I would have put injectors in first. It didnt take me long to do both but with a big set of injectors you should deffinately get smoke and alot of power. Injectors are not nearly as noticeable b/c the power is throughout the whole RPM range unlike the box where as it has certain RPM ranges that it works the most. If you plan on pulling alot I would try the JVD Torque Enhancer, we have tried almost every big fueling box and this one in my mind is by far the best for pulling. I gained 4-5 mpg with the just the box alone and it doesnt run high EGT's. Most all of Dave Mitchell's guys run the JVD b/c they sled pull alot like we do and they absolutely love it. I hope this helps. Be good!

Stealth DD2's.
IF DC thinks there is something fishy w/ injectors they have to remove them, send them to Bosch for testing.

I am bringing EZ boxes with me to the Texas Ramboree. Edge slapped my hand for advertising them to cheap. I guess what I sell them for face to face is OK. I also have some 275s I am bringing. But don't tell anyone what I am selling them for... ... .

i went with the 275's and installed them at May Madness!!!. . the install is a snap. the hardest part was getting the valve cover off and on... ya' gotta wiggle it just right!!!
i can REALLY tell the change... MAJOR DIFFERANCE. . if you go with injectors,be sure to get a boost module to drop your EGT's... good luck... tom

Thanks for all the answers, seems I need to get an EZ and 275's. Are "stealth" imjectors supposed to look like factory ones?
Anyway, I'll be at the Texas TDR meeting and ask alot of questions.
Thanks to all for taking time to answer me.
