I'm about to order a fuel pressure gauge and was originally looking at the Westach 16 psi but saw their new 30 psi. I would like the higher capacity of the 30 but the wider sweep of the 16. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've had this truck for two months now and would like to see if it I have a surprise waiting for me.

Thanks

Jeff

Unless you're thinking of adventually using different pumps on your truck, I would go for the 16-psi for the wider sweep. I just finished installing a new lift pump and the maximum it will show is 15 psi but will sink to 9 psi at WOT. The stock pump was dipping down to . 5-psi and I was glad I had the extra resolution. I'm very happy with the Autometer Ultra-Lite "electric" though it is pricey.

Ditto on SIR Davids reply ;) . 0-15 or 0-16 is fine unless you plan on adding a pusher pump or aftermarket pump. When I switched to my latest lift pump, I changed from the Autometer 0-15 gauge to their 0-20 boost/vacumm gauge, as O needed a gauge that read around 17 psi's. Works well and just another option to consider, if you don't mind the gauge face reading BOOST rather than Fuel Pressure. The boost gauge is mechanical and would require that you run the line into the cab. Mines mounted on the hood but I personally wouldn't hesitate to use it in the cab with the braided SS line, wouldn't run this gauge in the cab with regular nylon boost line though.

Nordskog digital on mine

$85. 00 total from Summit. This includes the sender, gauge and mounting cup. Grease gun hose and fittings were about $7. 00.

The nordskog is digital 0-16 psi and stores highest and lowest readings. You can recall the readings with a little button on the gauge face.
