I would like to get a 3-pod pillar mount (mine has a speaker in the pillar) and boost, pyro and fuel press gauges. Can someone recommend a good set-up? Part numbers would be a great help.

Thanks

There are tons of possibilities here. I have an autometer a-pillar with the tweeter that i used as a replacement, not a cover. I've got isspro ev series gauges in it that are great. Very well lit at night and easy to read. Genos has all of the abovementioned at good prices and excellent service. check 'em out.

I used the Westach gauges from Genos. The dual "Boost/EGT" gauge works great, and it saves one hole for something else. The Westach FP gauge also works great. Going on three years with no problems... Have fun... :)

Thanks for the info. I checked Geno's and I am not sure which boost gauge I need, 0-30 or 0-60 psi? I don't see any FP gauges listed under the Isspro heading but I see that Westach has two, a 15 and a 30 psi. Which would be best? It also says that you need to get creative to hook up these gauges on an '00 or later CTD. Is there a FP gauge made to work with these years? Thanks.

Hook ups are easy to the VP44. get a tapped banjo bolt from genos for a couple bucks, pull the old banjo from the vp44 with the schrader valve attached and slide your new, tapped banjo in place. then hook up an 18" grease gun hose to the sender to isolate it from vibration, then run wires to the gauge. as far as i know, genos sells a fuel pressure gauge now from isspro but it is mechanical. my buddy has this one in a 0 to 30 psi range. westach is electrical and i have the 0-16 psi gauge and it works great. i like electrical gauges because i don't have a diesel fuel or antifreeze line running to the cab (if an isolator is used). get a pressure snubber if you go mechanical. either way, the install is very easy. getting your hands in those tight spots to do the work is by far the most difficult part.

just my . 02

oh yeah, for boost gauge:

if you are going to stay totally stock you can possibly go with the 30 psi boost gauge. but if you plan on any power mods, do it right the first time and get a 60 psi gauge. If i were you, i'd go with a 60 psi gauge no matter what. you are putting out about 20psi stock, so with very little mods you will exceed 30 psi. also, you want a gauge that goes a decent amount higher than you boost will. Go 60 psi! same price, nothing to lose.

I followed advice from seasoned users:

I got a 60 psi boost gauge and have only been to 40.

I got a 1800° pyro and have only been to don't ask.....

Add a small on-off switch for the lighting circuit.

I got Isspro Ev. They are really bright and you will be sorry without the lighting cutout switch.
