2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Which gauges?

I want to get the gauges that will help me monitor the critical parameters of my truck, but I also want to limit the number of gauges to a reasonable number ( I don't need an airplane cockpit).



I already have a fuel pressure gauge because all of you made me so paranoid. So If I get two more, which two; EGT, transmission, and/or boost? If I measure EGT, is it necessary to measure boost?

Do you have an automatic or stick? If you're looking for two more, I'd get a boost and EGT for the stick or EGT and transmission temp for the auto. Just my opinion.

Stock I don't think you will ever over boost, and there are built in limiters to keep it from over boosting.



Not sure if you can over temp EGT if stock or not. I think it will only go to about 1000* stock. Someone else needs to verify this.



You can coke a turbine if you shut it down too hot.



transmission (auto) can overheat stock.



FP always critical.

You can always go with combo gauges from westburg (westach) and measure boost on one gauge and egt and trans temp on another. Or just go with one gauge and get egt and trans temp.

i have westach gauges, combo egt/boost, combo temp. oil/trans. fuel pressure. mounted in pillar mount. been working perfectly .
