Car hauler Question

Looks like I'm gonna nead a Goose Neck hitch in the near future. I'd like something that'd take up minimal space in the truck bed when it's not in use. I plan on buying a 5er in the near future so if theres something that be a good idea for both that'd probably be the way to go. I'm just starting to look around now and up till now have stuck with the typical class IV hitch so any sugestions on a goose neck are greatly appreciated.

Mike

Mike,

I have the B&W Turnoverball and companion 5th wheel. It's a great setup. What I like best is that when your not using the 5th wheel or gooseneck ball, there is nothing in the bed like rails or a plate to obstruct loading or unloading of big objects.

I love it

This is the hitch for me:D . You guys saved me a lot of shopping around. I'll be ordering one in the very near future. I guess the best way to buy is right from the website.

Thanks again

Like everybody else said, the B & W is really nice. I just installed one last night in my truck. Went in perfectly and is really clean. I would try T & R trailers in Colorado. Sorry I dont' have any of their info. But that is the best price around that I could find and they were very helpful and friendly. Shipped it to CA in 3 days. Shipping was kind of pricey because that thing is heavy, but saved me tax so it all works out.

How was the install? How long did it take you? I'm not worried about doing it myself, just nead to plan enough time to get it done.

I installed one in my 03 ands it took about 1. 5 hrs. Super easy, great directions, and real heavy duty.

As for purchasing it, I bought it off tyhe website... .....

My Dad came down this past weekend so I could help him install a hitch in his truck. He bought a Curt Mfg. Quick Goose. I really liked this hitch, you can raise/lower the ball from the wheelwell.

I like my Atwood folding ball better than the B&W becouse it can be raised/lowered without touching the ball (but I still have to climb up into the bed!).

No Problem.

I ordered mine on Sun (shipped Mon. ) and got it today in Wa. I paid for the three day shipping cause I needed it by this weekend. Looks like maybe the regular shipping would have done.
