those are some very interesting findings Jim. i feel that when i installed my turbo i picked up a good bit more power than i had before. what do you think the chances are that i dont make any more power than i did before?

Jim... . Do you have a upgraded fuel system. . Fass, etc? I didn't see one in your sig. My brother has a 04. 5 & he would run his rail dry with just Crazy Larry before adding the Fass. If you don't have fuel supply... . you won't benefit from adding injectors.

I'm running a Walbro pump with an aeromotive regulator, at about 18psi. I also have a fuel pressure guage, and a rail pressure gauge. When my rail started running dry, my low pressure fuel was staying at 18. Just off idle, the rail pressure would drop, and have to try and catch back up. Since I pulled the injectors, the truck just feels better, off idle, and the rail pressure doesn't seem to drop, but I will have to do a little more testing to find out. The weather here hasn't been too conducive to flogging the truck. :D

Robert,

Unless you have upgraded your CP3, I doubt you will see much more on the top end, although I could be wrong. I personally think the limits of a stock CP3 are around 550hp, regardless of the injectors. Yes, I know there are exceptions, that's just my theory on the CP3, based on my truck.

Well to look at the other side of the spectrum, I am runnning a modded CP3 and stock injectors. I can't break 600. I'm sitting right around 595 to 597 HP on the dyno. So I agree with RAMS-N-HOGS in that your stock parts that involve your fuel system will be limiting no matter which side of the spectrum you are on. If I throw in some F2's or F3's I would venture to guess I'm going to bust 600 HP no problem:-laf

I would try a Dual Feed line & see if that helps out... . sounds like fuel isn't making it to fill the rail fast enough.
