Hey guys I need to know what injectors to get for my set up. I kind of want some real power. I am already getting a fuel presure, pyro, and boost guage then some high flow banjo kit. I most the time just fly down empty roads running around, but in the spring and summer i pull some big 220 & 330 bu. friesen seed tenders, 1600 gal bulk water/fertilizer trailers. The truth is my truck can already pull better than I expected, but i'd like to smoke some of my buddies with light weight gassers.

If you still want to tow without being really concerned about temps, or having to upgrade the turbo, you should take a look at DD2s. A lot of people recommend them to be the top step and still maintain your ability to tow heavy.

The 2's and the EZ make a very nice combo.

There's only a lot of smoke if you jump on it hard off-boost, otherwise it clears right up to only a slight haze (running around 34 psi). As for EGTs, I still haven't seen my gauge go over 1300.

We pull a 36' 5th wheel RV that puts us on the road at 21,180 lbs GCW (21,500 lbs GCWR). I agree with Justin - the EZ and DD2's are a nice towing package. Excellent power where you need it for towing and reasonable EGT's (with the BHAF and 4" exhaust, anyway). Based on my experience, though, you want to be prepared to upgrade the clutch when the DD2's go in - some stock clutches hold OK, but mine didn't! :(

I recommend DD3's, as I just upgraded from 1's.

Had a hard time deciding between 2's or 3's. Thank goodness I made the right choice. No problem w/ EGT's unloaded, and when towing, I take it easy anyways. With the VA its got lots of torque, smoke is controllable.

You will need a good clutch though.

Combined with your EZ timing box, you will smoke your buddies, and have a goood running motor. :D

IMO, its better to get the bigger ones the first time around, and save the money going up in steps.

Im already eyeballing stage 4's. Sheesh!

I'll vote for the dd3's as well. I was worried about EGT's, but I have found they are very controllable, I have the comp and for pulling I just turn the box off and let the injectors do the work. There have been a couple of hills I have had to take my foot out of it a bit, but I still pass everyone else. Do it once, do it right.

according to your signature you already have a 4inch exhaust and a BHAF. So no I don't think you would have to watch it unless you are trying to run hard on a hill while pulling heavy. Of course me personally I would be checking even if I was stock. You got the gauges, make use of them. not hard to do. I only have a straight piped stock exhaust. I would like to up to a 4 inch, but not sure it is worth it for me, plus I have a pac brake that is turbo mounted and I haven't investigated too much yet on what effect I would have in not going to the larger till after the downpipe.

Another thread on here talks about it from the standpoint that at any given cruise speed you are really using about the same amount of fuel, larger injectors will just deliver that amount with less throttle. Take your time do a search and look through past posts, either the 2's or 3's will work for ya.

My thought was if ya go with the 3's you can always let off the throttle, if ya go with the 2's and want more, then you are spending alot more money.

You may want to look at EDM injectors also. They supposedly give lower egts and less smoke for the same hp because of the finer injection holes.
