Which injectors would you recommend to go in conjuntion with the Banks Power Pack? Like most I want more power without sacrificing to much in fuel economy, and engine longevity. I plan on hauling a Lance 11. 5' camper while pulling a 19' aluminum fish/ski boat. My truck is a 00' 3500 SLT QC Dually 4x4, 3. 55ax, with 4 speed auto, Banks Power Pack. Which brings me to my next question. I'm new here and need info on how to default my truck's identity during my posts. Can someone please help?? Also, I already have plans to talk with Bill K. before proceeding with injectors. Thanks in advance. WHAT A GREAT SITE!!

I think what you are looking for would be the 275 RV injectors. I have a Powerpak as well and talked to a few people at Banks about injectors. They are running the 275's and like them alot. I dont kow what the differance between other injectors would be. I am trying to find that out as well. As far s milage goes. I understand that if you keep your foot out of it (yea right) ouy will be ok. The deal with banks as I understand it, is that you dont really start fueling until about 8lbs of boost. So this is where the injectors should really help.

Defaulting you truck during posts. That would be you signature if I understand you correctly. Go into pref. and set that up. That would be at the upper right of your screen.

Hope that helps... ...

Jonz,

I spoke with Banks this afternoon. The person I talked with said "they did not recommend any injector upgrades. " This was a salesman however, as nobody in tech support was avaliable. After reading my e-mail responses it sounds like DD1's or DD2's might be the way to go. Can you get 275's that are flow matched?? DD's injectors just seem like a better quality injector for our trucks. Am I wrong here?? Thanks for the input!! C. Miller

I'm currently in the process of installing the full Banks package (less the tailpipe and muffler) on my rig. I've already got the 275 injectors installed. I'll let you know what kinda results I get.

I just had 275s installed yesterday and I am very impressed. I thought my truck ran pretty good before but now it really screams. It runs a lot smoother and effortlessly. The only problem is EGTs go up fast and I'll have to watch that. I also have to be careful getting on the throttle as it will spin out in an instant if you're making a turn from a stop. I think my rear tires will last the rest of this week if I'm careful.
I was at Bill K s seminar and want to thank Bill, Clint, Steve, and all the others who worked on my truck. A great bunch of guys. It was a very successful get together and I think everyone enjoyed it and learned a lot.

Any of the Banks Power systems are compatible with upgraded injectors. We don’t package injectors with any of our systems at this time because of the difficulty of passing emissions with the larger injectors. This may have led to the misunderstanding about Banks not “recommending” injectors.
