Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) which injectors!?!?

im looking to get a set of injectors. right now i have a edge comp, no silencer ring, bhaf, 4in downpipe straight pipe to 5in stacks, auto transmission with dtt TC and billet imput shaft and other little dtt goodies. i want smoke but with as little egt gain as possible. what would be a good choice in injectors 60 hp 80hp ect. and what injector will give me what gain in egts (approximantly)

A turbo will help you egts. That small hy 9 is not going to be doing to well cooling once you add 60+ hp injectors.



EDM's are the way to go, cost a little more but they put down the power advertised and egts are the lowest in the business. Do a search.



EDM 1. 5's or 2's.

That 2000 should have an HX-35 on it, they did'nt start with the HY's until '01. Even so, an EDM 1 or 1. 5 would give you a lot of power. With the 1. 5's and the comp set on 1X5 EGT's will stay around 1100* max. As the comp settings go up so does the EGT's. With my comp on 5x5, in 6th gear, I have approximately 7 seconds at WOT until complete meltdown.

Pay less, get less. More heat, more smoke, less mileage. EDM's are the way to go.
