i know there is a company in AZ that builds them and sells them to retailers and they call it "there own"... i have always used suncoast... never a problem.

I know ATS builds their own. I've heard good and bad about that shaft. Suncoast uses the the Sonnax shaft. Precision Industries has a shaft that's about $200 less. Any opinions?

I have an ATS imput shaft. I don't know if it is any better than the others, but it still seem to work. I imagine it is stronger than my stock intermediate and outout shaft. I would call the top transmission companies, and go with the one that gives you the best deal. I'm sure they will all be good. Good luck

I will second ATS, I am running their Stage 2 trans which has their billet input shaft with no issues. It is only in my truck for a few thousand miles so far, but very pleased with it.
