My VP44 died a couple of weeks ago. The truck has 92,000 miles and it's the second VP44 to die. The first was covered by warranty. This one is on me so I'm going to use a different approach. A reman VP44 is on the way from US diesel and I'm going to order the vulcan big line kit and relocate the lift pump. I also have an AFE stage 1 to install. Since I'm doing upgrades, The little woman said I could buy some injectors and I've decided on the Jammer series from Edge. I'm thinking stage II or stage III. I pull a 5ver at 7,000 pounds and once or twice a year I tow two 4 wheelers on a trailer for an additional 4,000 pounds at high elevations. Do you think the stage IIIs are too much? What will be the drawbacks? I appreciate any input.

I have to reply to my own post because I can't get the truck description to work. Here it is.

2001. 5 4x4 H. O. 6spd Banks Powerpack.

i have jammer 4's. i really like them but i put down 350hp with just an edge comp box. that was before these injectors. clutch will slip on any level above 2. The clutch held the comp before injector install. Drawbacks?Besides Egt's getting hot your clutch will be toast. I know little about the Banks box though. I seen the Banks six gun on an 04 Duramax and he made way less power than my truck.
