Should I get the double deep pan or is the deep pan good enough? What type of transmission temp. differeences should I expect?

Unless you offroad, go double deep. I believe the normal deep won't increase your capacity (awhile back the stock pans were increased in capacity to match the normal deep capacity).

I put a double deep on mine, and the pan is still higher than the cross member. So unless you really play hard in the boulders, I wouldn't worry about clearance. The cost difference isn't too much, and they are tough as nails. Both come with a gasket and sensor plug for a temp gauge. I'm sure either is fine, but the double lowers the temp a bit more. Hope this helps.

i don't see any reason why a new trans pan will effect the warrenty in any way. and if your dealer says it does, find another dealer.
