Have been saving the pennies and was wondering which I should get first. Found a set of BDII's or a VA smart box R. Which would be a wise choice to start with. I do not have a boose fooler but the truck runs 25 psi boost and sets no codes now. Thanks for the info.

My vote goes to a fuel pressure Gage.

As far as power mods, the favorite on my HO is the DD2 injectors. Just a nice smooth seamless power increase (I don't like the knocking noise the engine makes with the timing box). You might want to think about some high flow fuel lines or larger banjo bolts to help with the flow.

Best of luck,

John

yes the fuel pressure guage is the next in line--then maybe some transmission work, but that's your call, and then the power--go with the injectors first would be my choice, because you might find another box that suits your needs better down the line, but if you go with the box you'll be happy also--hard choice on which one to get really, because it's a win win situation on either one---chris

Thanks for the info guys. I was thinking injectors. we'll see how she goes. Hopefully we'll get it to smokin' soon.

FP guage and injectors is what I would recommend also. Smoother power and easier on everything.

I am happy with my EZ and DD2s, but in retrospect I would have done the power upgrades differently:

First, I would have gone with an adjustable wire-tap syle fueling box.

Second, I would have gone with EDM injectors (they were still newbie when I bought injectors)
