I have the TST. First, some background. I have tried a ton of modules -
1. Edge EZ. Just wasn't enough for me.
2. TS ramifier. Was fun, but not adjustable and had issues (will explain in a sec)
3. Banks 6 Gun. My EZ put out more power and same milage, but took less than 2 minutes to install.
4. Quad race box. Loved the way this box ran, but wanted more and had issues later.
5. Added VA duration box. Good box by itself, got hotter then hell with Quad.
6. TST/TS stack. I'm in love! Tons of adjustable power and fuel milage I can't beat with a VW! Just unreal! Won;t get ridd of it!
Issues I had were due to a faulty Fuel Pressure Sensor. Replaced mine and have had no issues to date. That said, I love my current config. I bought the TST with gauges, and you can set your egt limits yourself, instead of it being set by someone who drives a Toyota to work. I am not a fan of Banks, but I am one of the few with reason. I tried their products (twice) and will not try their electronics again. And, for the price of the 6 Gun you can get the TST with gauges (new). I got mine on ebay for 450. Install was pretty much the same if not worse than the TST. Milage beats the Banks by a long shot. Yes the EGT limiting worked well, but you can't adjust it. I like chioces, and the TST gives em to ya. And, I saw lower EGTs at a given speed with a load than the Banks. For example. My 5th wheel is about 13K. Now, woth stock tires i was into the 1325-1350 range with the Banks at bout 50-55 in 5th gear. TST, 65, 6th gear, 35" tires and 1150-1200 degrees. Did I mention I got like 2 MPG better than the Banks? I know I am happy with my final chioce. At 500-1000 bucks for a chip, think about it and see what people say. There are alot of Banks haters hear, some with good reason, and there are some lovers here. I have my opinions and those are mine. I have tried to show you the facts of what I found from my own use. Hope this helps.
