well i am straight piped but colorado has a new law. Can't go over so many decibals and a straight piped cummins really surpasses the standard they want. I need to know which muffler is going to sound the best and i'm sure all the mufflers will meet there standards. Any insight guys. Also i'm on somewhat of a tight budget so nothing really expensive. Thanks guys.

What truck?? A 2nd gen with 3" pipe, using a 20-ish inch long Walker bullet from Summit racing for $35 can't be beat...

I like my MagnaFlow on the 3rd gen (4" pipe)... also the Donanldson/Fleetright/Nelson truck mufflers can be had in a multitude of lengths/sizes...

The Silent Might is almost stock but with a slight rumble as long as you have your CAT in place. Without it there is a little more volume, especially when towing.

I just put a Rokktech Slient Might on my 06. It works well. Sounds Close to stock with a little more rumble down low and at high rpms. I am happy so far.

No Drone !

don't get me wrong guys but i still want loud i just want it too sound good and be cost efficient. I removed the cat aswell so i'm just looking at reinstalling an aftermarket muffler.

actually i just heard a sound clip of it online and it actually sounds pretty good. The rokktech silent might that is. I just might give that one a try. You think that will give me a little more power than my straight piped like they say on there website.
