I'm out of my regular brand and cant make it to the store that sells them... . What is the brand that I should never put in my truck... . I forgot which one it was

Fram is the one you are NOT looking for.



That being said, can't you just order a Fleetguard from Genos Garage, or is it "need it right now" situation??
 
I agree with seafish. Stay away from Fram oil filters. First choice would be Fleetguard, as seafish said, and second choice would be NAPA.
 
Thanks I've been using Hastings for years but Since I'm on nights this week I cant get by my usual store.





I left the brand blank because I didn't want to ignite an(other) oil filter war. I just knew there was one everybody agreed shouldn't be used.

I use Purolator all the time for oil and air! Bimart and other stores have them in stock. TDR had a filter comparison article and they came in great and good pricing. I also believe Hastings came in high in that article and would feel good using them. If I find the article, I'll reply with more info. Herb
