Going to be changing out the intake valve springs to the 60lb springs this weekend and I was wondering if someone could give me advice on which order to do it in so the valves don't fall into the cylinders.

I know I can find TDC #1 and swap the springs on #1 and #6 but after that I think I am confused. I believe #3 and #4 would be done after that by rotating the engine 180* and that would put them @ TDC but then which way to go after that for #2 and #5?

Or is the best way to just watch the rocker arms, do one cylinder at a time and wait till the intake closes and the exhaust just starts to open??

Thanks, Joe

Thanks that cleared up my confusion! I think I will skip removing the entire rocker assembly and just take the intake rockers off each time with the 'ol trusty snap ring pliers. :D

Going to give both 3rd 4 low and 2nd 4 hi a try and see how they compare.

I believe my injectors are sufficient enough just need to squeeze more fuel out of the pump somehow. They flow more than 370s and I haven't seen much others out there that are comparable without spending close to $800. I have been contemplating going to 191 delivery valves but to me it is not worth it since the 215 pumps already have 181s and serious power can be had from them anyway.

Got my trusty #100 plate FF I made from my stocker. Been contemplating putting in my #0 to get more bottom end fueling for boost build-up but then again, with my AFC FF I get plenty of that.

Still trying to understand the gov spring characteristics cuz with the 4K kit it revs way past 4K RPM with the pedal to the floor just like the 3K kit rev'd way past 3K RPM. Guess it takes a while for those gov weights to de-fuel the pump to control the RPM as it overshoots the listed governed RPM. I have been told to control the revs with the clutch, so gonna try that next Friday during the first pull of the weekend @ MM. :D
