Which Power Enhancer for 2002 HO?

Whats the best Power Enhancement module for the my 2002 HO Six Speed? Been looking at the Edge Comp, Diesel Dymanics Utimate Power Module and the TST PowerMax3. Not sure which one will give me the most kick. Any help would be appreciated.

I would do a search for "edge comp", "ultimate fueling module", and "powermax"



I'm sure you'll find plenty of info and opinions on the various products out there.



Power Edge makes the fueling boxes for Diesel Dynamics, BD, and other brands. The DD fueling boxes have different timing and fueling maps than Power Edge boxes.



Before you decide, you'll need to know exactly what type of power you want to have and whether you want to upgrade the clutch or not. Think about the downsteam effects of adding more power.



I personally like the Power Edge products myself. I think a Comp would be a good way to go. Don't hook up the injection pump wire until you're ready for more power. If you have any questions, give Aaron (Power Edge) a call and ask some questions.

Alot of TDR'ers with HO's have stated that new injectors really wake up the power of the HO Cummins. This is because (for some unknown reason) the HO motor uses smaller injectors than the regular motor.



I would replace the injectors first.

Get some gauges installed (boost/EGT and Fuel Press at minimum) and then make your decision. Remember if you tow you will have to add a clutch and, depending on the combo of boxes/injectors you choose maybe, a new turbo and fule system upgrades...

I have the DD TTPM, its the best mod and only mod I have done power wise Now Im thinking of DD'1S to turn it in what they call the stage one pro kit... . I like DD stuff. They really seem to know how to tweak these engines for power and torque. Go to there website and see what you think! Don't think you could go wrong with any product But what swayed me was I knew i would add injectors latter, and i wanted everything compatable(dont want to smoke like the fires in arizona right now) Good luck... ... Thanks to all who replied. Ordered the Diesel Dynamics Ultimate Power Module. Now I need some gauges. I like the Autometer Ultralite Series. I was unable to determine whether they make a fuel pressure gauge and sender in this series. I have seen the Westach gauge that Geno's Garage sells. Seems like this would do, but would rather have a matching set. Does anyone know if Autometer makes the fuel gauge in the Ultralite series?
