I also have used Bilsteins with great results although they are a little firm on my Grand Cherokee.

Anyone used Pro Comp MX6 adjustables? They are valved for each specific application like Bilstein. I had them on my Diesel Excursion and loved them. I do not see many posts on the TDR.

Anyone using them?

Do you have a p/n# on the bilsteins? I'm being told they don't exist specifically for the 03-05 dodges.
Here are the numbers for the bilstein 5100 series shocks, they are for a 2004 4X4. Fronts BE5-6681-H5,rear BE5-6647-H5. I have had the 5100 bilsteins on my truck now for about 1 year,no complaints. coobie Oo.

Has anyone compared the performance of the stock Bilsteins to the custom valved rear shocks that Kore and Desert Racing Concepts sells? Obviously there is a fair amount of difference in the cost.

My bisteins are too firm... like a rock. Got the tires aired down to 28 FT. and 23 rear and still shaking my teath lose... . OUCH

I just today installed my new Bilsteins. My truck only has 50K on it but the stock shocks were shot, easy to compress by hand and very slow to extend. I drove it and was very impressed with the difference in ride and handling. there is a stretch of highway here that is concrete and has the dreaded control joints and I used to hit that and have my seats actually shake from the bumps. I drove it after the shocks went on and 90% of it is gone. Now, I will admit that the stock shocks were as good and having no shocks at all but my truck feels totally different now. The ride is smoother with a much more sure-footed feel. Handling seems a little better and the steering responds better also. I have not driven yet loaded but it sure is nice empty. All in all a very good improvement for not a lot of cash

I had Bilsteins on my 98. 5. When I traided it in they had around 50K miles on them. First thing I noticed when bringing home my 02 was how bad the brand new factory shocks felt compaired to the Bilesteins on the truck I just traided in.

I would like to put a set on the 06 when I bring it home, but money will make me wait at least a little while (plus I don't think they make them yet)

Last I read was about 6 weeks ago. Someone posted that the Bilsteins that are made specifically for the 2500/3500 Rams were still 4-6 months away. Of course this is the same story we heard this time last year when they said they would be ready by July this past summer... At 56,000 miles, the stock shocks are killing me.
