Which Springs Do I Have?

Need some Help. How do you tell which coil springs you have. I've seen people discuss the different sizes (048,052). any help would be appreciated. The reason for this is I'm trying to log all my Cummins characteristics into a logbook.

There should be a little tag on each coil spring to indicate what you have. I think they are also listed on the build sheet that you can get from the dealer.

Checked for tags on my springs. Driver's side MIA, passenger side tag said 039. Can I assume that the driver's side coil spring is the same or is it a 038? it seems when people have discussed this before the springs were never the same.

The drivers side will most likely be a 46 or 47. The driver side is heavier to offset the extra weight of the driver and fuel tank. Maybe try one of those printout's from the dealer with your VIN #. It has all kinds of good info. You can also measure the wire diameter and calculate it from there based on the chart on the link above.
