I am in the process of installing a Westach Fuel Pressure Gauge on my 99. Which test port do I use on the top of the Fuel Filter assembly? I know both would be best, giving me a before and after fuel filter reading, but I am taking one step at a time. Is it the test port closest to the center nut or closest to the outside?

Thanks

I'd recommend the closer to center. That will give you an after filter reading. That way you have an idea of when it's time to change the filter or if you get a bad tank of fuel and it gels up on the filter.

I put my west tech gauge in the cutout where the in cab clock used to go, the sending unit i put in the middle hole of the fuel filter canister.

Need to know what is going to the VP, closest to the center here to. Make sure you use a grease hose or the sending unit will get shook to death.
