when new in 96. i bought the truck used last year. it has michelins on it now. 265/75/16. are these the stock size?

thanks. scott

I don't believe the 265/75's were an option that year. I don't think dodge offered that as an option until a couple of years later. I may however be wrong. I know the SRW were standard with the 245/75/16's on them. The dually's had a different size but I can't remember exactly what size they were.

The 265 wasn't an option until 98. 5 or maybe 99. The 245 was the biggest you could get as no one had a 10 ply 265 back then.

265's not an option in early 99

My 99 came stock with 245's and no option for the 265's - Ordered in late '98. I think 2000 was the first year for 265's.

The stock tires came as followed on 2500 trucks:

94-98 came with 245/75/16 Goodyears

99 came with 245/75/16 Michelins

2000-2002 came with 265/75/16 Michelins
