I am at about 400 HP right now at the rear wheels but when I'm done I would like to be between 450 and 500 HP. I'm getting ready to upgrade my exhaust and I'm debating on doing my turbo now. Which turbo do you guys think would be good SPS62,HTB2,B1 quick spool or Silver bullet ? This is my daily driving vehicle so I want my ride to be fairly smooth. Thanks Guys.

That would definately be the way to go... . Super Stock 24/62 from HT is awesome. I have 500hp & tow daily too. This turbo Rocks!

I really like the super phat shaft 62 turbo. It makes lots of air and IMO spools as quick as the stock turbo, if not faster. There is a good write up about the sps 62 in issue54 of Turbo Diesel Register. Plus I like dealing with Brady and the gang at Industrial Injection, They are very informed on the products they sell and very pleasant to deal with.

62 should get you there but it will be hot. If you dont tow I would step it up a bit and look into a 66 so you have room to grow, (Most people say 450 hp but it always turns into more!) Even at 550 HP or so the 66 is fairly toasty the 62 IMO is maxed out at 450-500 hp.

By the way, If you decided later you wanted the sps 66, you could always take the sps 62 off of your truck and send it in to be upgraded.

True you can which is very nice.

But Down time sucks if you dont want to slap the stocker on for a few days then swap in the new "upgraded" charger.

Either way they are awesome turbos and I dont think you can go wrong.

I've got the ATS Aurora 2000 on my tow rig towing 26,001 + on a triple axle enclosed race hauler---75,000 miles this year up and down the Rockies back and forth from So Cal to Wisconsin cruising all the way...

Check em' out at their website... and then call Joel to hook you up. :D

the 66 is a dog compared to the 62, I know and will be going to the 62 again real soon. however on topend runs the 66 is th power maker. I am sure the guys at tst told me the dyno king single was a 66/14, in their shop. my 66 is fast but the 62 is better for the response it has. I know guys making 550 hp on the 62/14 and keeping egt's in check during a drag race. I guess I would start with a 62 and if needed move up. after having a 62 for a few months the reponse is night and day differant.
