I don't see anything on Industrial Injections' site about the Silver Bullet turbo. Is this pretty new? Has anyone driven with one and how does it spool next to the 62 and 66, and will it be good for towing?

I like the 62, but might want to get over 500 hp, maybe their 64 will do the trick, but not too many guys have em.

They still have not returned my calls. Are they out of turbos right now?

Who on here is a "dealer" of turbos, that has one in stock and can hook me up?

They are definitely not out of turbos. I was just down at their shop and they have them all over the place. They sure have their act together down there.

Hey my first post on TDR. I just made the swap, 4 nights ago, from a Super B to HTT's 62-14. So far I'm very pleased. It was an incredibly hard decision trying to figure out what i wanted in a bigger turbo. II was very helpful and so was HTT. Took the truck out for its first tow, an EXISS 4 Horse gooseneck. Only 1 pony in the back though. As you can see from my sig I'm over 400 rwhp. temps hit 1100 on a steep grade doing 70. The Superchips is on tow safe. Your going to be happy with whatever you get trust me I almost went with 64 or 66 but I didnt need to, sometimes bigger isnt always better.

I believe the testing and such is still going on for the silver bullet. Supossed to be sweeeet :) . Maybe brent or brady will chime in here and offer some help. Also don't worry about 500 with the 62. My goal is 550-575 and was told the 62 will hold fine.

i am a distributer for industrial and would be glad to assist you Oo. :-laf

Just curious why the SPS is frequently discussed but rarely the regular Phat Shaft (which I read spools a little better given the same size housings). Is it because it potentially isn't as durable (due to 60 vs 70mm shaft) or some other reason? I know for my 12-valve auto I'm going to be more interested in the smaller PS for better spool and because I'm not going for big HP (mid 300s is all). Will probably do a PS 62 with 12 or 14 exh. housing.

Durability would be about the same given the wheel size to shaft size ratio.

The regular phat shaft is comparable to the b1 or Htb2 series in shaft size.

Htb2

I am running the HTB2 with the 12cm housing. No complaints here. Nothing to compare but stock. Its far better than stock. I might next time try the 14cm housing to get the egts a little cooler. Don't know how much lag it will add though.

I have the htb2 66/14 has no surging empty, have not towed with it yet. I hear 1 out of 10 complains of the surge with the 66. more with the 64. I personally would buy the 66 again as I love it. even without the twins program it is nice, but is a lil slower. if you tow more often than I do I might buy the 62, but I doubt it.

UPS Showed up with 4 boxes

Today, UPS showed up with my new SPS66 turbo, an AFE stage 2 kit, an ATS exaust manifold, and a True 4" downpipe for the turbo.

I am hoping to wrench on it this weekend :D Oo. :-laf

I wanted to do a run or two at Edgewater tonite, but this Dang rain is killing me. :{

I am hoping that this stuff is the ****!!!!

You will like it, I have installed a lot of their stuff on customers trucks, the end result with a customer smiling is what makes this business great to be in, the support I get from Industrial Injection is simply awesome... ... ... enjoy! :D
