i'm in the market for a new turbo, can't decide between the PDR 35 or the DODGEZILLA, any one got any experience with the two?

PDR 35 at your fueling level. What kind of EGT's are you pulling right now? I have a hybrid right now similair to the Dodgezilla and it's a little big. It spools slow at my fueling level and I'm close to what you're running now. If you had 75 HP more, then I would go with the Dodgezilla.

So basically, if you plan on fueling more, then go hybrid.

I went from a H1C to a PDR HX35, and noticed a goodly diference in spoolup, dropped peak EGT about 150 deg. IF you are at the upper limits of the HX35, then I'd personally go for a HX35/ 40 hybrid. Dont get me wrong, PDR makes a great turbo, but it is still just a hair bigger than a stock HX35- 58mm compressor vs 56 for stock. Think a 40 is in the neighborhood of 60mm. Plus, with a hybrid, you get to keep your exhaust housing and exhaust. CB, if the 35/40 cobo is slow, there is only one obvious option for ya- bump up the fuel!!!:D :D

well i can hit 1400 deg pretty easy, and i'm making 38 -40 lbs boost with the stock HX/35 i have. and oh yea theres gonna be more fuel:D

Well, then I suggest the hybrid. My 35/40 has the exhaust housing of a 35 (16cm, soon to be wastegated) and the compressor housing of a 40 (60mm pinwheel).

I'll be getting a LOT more fuel here pretty soon, you just watch...

I just put a Dodgezilla with a 16 ng housing on my truck over the weekend. It is an AWSOME turbo, I have basically stock fueling, stock manifold and a stock air box/fileter. With the edms pushing it I am hitting 36-38psi as soon as the tach hits 1,200rpm the turbo is screaming. My EGT's went down 150deg to 900, from my stock turbo/16. So even if you do leave your fueling alone get the Dodgezilla you wont be upset about it.

Can I ask, what is you end HP goal????

THAT will tell you/us which way to go for a turbo in your application. Do it right the first time and save the extra $$$ for more fun... This is a lesson I've learned (like others) just a bit on the hard way/side... :D:D
